Hi Parents!

It's seems like it's been forever since I was last here...but I'm back!

Tonight (January 19, 2010)
Lakewood Community League meeting
7pm, in the main floor room of the Hall

I hope to have the minutes from our last Board meeting up by the end of the week. We talked about Field Trips, a Valentine's Day party, and our upcoming fundraiser (yummy cookies!). Watch backpacks in the next week or so for more on that!

More importantly, the Community League is sending home a letter with your kids this week. Please read through this letter and if you have any concerns you can address them directly to the League. I'm posting some contact information in the classroom and watch for a new "Suggestion Box" to show up sometime soon as well. The League is responsible for funding the playschool and making sure everything is running smoothly. They have some concerns and would like to see them addressed, but I'm sure they would love to hear about all the great things Playschool has to offer as well!

I know that my son has been having a blast so far this year, and I hope that you feel the same about your child! It's hard to believe we're in the home stretch now, and soon will be planning year end parties and next year's registrations. How time flies!!
